Cargo Room
The Cargo Room is an area on the boat that is designated for light cargo. We originally designed it to store a single Harley Davidson Sportster motorcycle. Since we do not have a motorcycle, we turned it into a bunk room and workshop. It has a large overhead hatch, two watertight bulkheads, and two watertight doors. There is a crane boom, with a 16' reach, that can pick up cargo up to 1,000lbs (454kg) out of this room. We installed the fire pump/ dewatering pump in this room. The aft-most watertight door has the same dimensions as the overhead hatch. This allows us to load fuel barrels into the Main Cabin and to remove the engine from the engine room.
