Interior Plan
Glacier Gem has four watertight bulkheads dividing the vessel into five sections. This allows for multi-mission capabilities. The interior plan is optimized for two crew operating the boat, but can support up to six crew.
The anchor locker is for storing all running gear and equipment. The cargo area can handle light cargo volume, but doubles as a crew berth, workshop and tool room. The main cabin provides a galley, head, and crew lounging area without disturbing the off-watch crew. The Main Cabin also provides a crew of two all necessary space for wintering at anchor or in a harbor without having to heat the remaining vessel sections. The engine room is the electrical and mechanical center of the vessel. The aft cabin is primarily designed for operating the vessel from within the pilothouse during inclement weather.
