Rain and thunder was “threatening “ us all day, but held out and kept the hot sun at bay.
Back in the channel on the river in the way back, we past this massive one! A 1000+ footer! One of the Great Lakes freighters!
Wow! Impressive for sure.
We did throughout the past four years living here, got to see some freighters pass our place, but maximum length has always been under 800 feet. These larger ones just don’t get the turn-space further up.
