We love electrical wiring that is easy to reach, easy to service, and easy to see if there is a problem. Exposed wiring is our preference, when it is possible. We’re not talking about exposed power leads that could hurt someone. They are all safe.
There are simply no panels to remove to get to the wiring and it’s not pushed into a tiny tube back in some crevice.
We have installed a total of 1,835 feet (559 meters) of marine grade wire of various diameters. Some of that wire is duplex or triplex wire and the additional wires are not included in the count.
The photo below shows the wiring hung overhead in the engine room.
