What a beautiful sunset we had anchored out on the river last night….
It was the calm before the storms…
We started out the day before practicing our line throwing, docking and just general maneuvering in some current and wind. Then we decided to relax anchored out.
What a beautiful evening it was.
We also took the time to start “plotting” our EXIT out of the Great Lakes, starting with Saginaw Bay.
Our plan, weather depending of course, is to leave beginning of October. Up Lake Huron, over the State of Michigan, into Lake Michigan towards Chicago.
